Shadow Work: First Concert

Friday night, my family + niece saw Godsmack with opener Dorothy. To most it’s no big deal, but for me it was my “first” concert. (I saw Incubus in Seoul 20+ years ago and like 25 people were there - that’s not a concert 🤣). As someone from a childhood of poverty, I had become someone who refused to spend money on something so intangible and frivolous when there’s bills to pay. It was huge for me to take this step out of my comfort zone. The purchase may be intangible but I have the memories for a lifetime and beyond.
